Our Story

Parker and I first truly met at a friend's bonfire in October of 2015. We had heard each other's names before and even had a class together freshman year, but never talked before then. At the bonfire, Parker & I hit it off, he showed me a cool Mac Miller song so I asked for his number so he could share the song with me -- this came in handy later that week when we both found reasons to start texting each other...the rest is history!

We started dating and fell in love within a couple months. We graduated high school together, Parker went to UNCC and I went to UNC for the first two years. It was heart wrenching to be a part when we were so inseparable, but we made great efforts -- visiting each other most weekends to refill on the feeling of home <3. Parker excelled at UNCC and joined me at UNC for our last two-three years of college where we got to make the most beloved memories...rushing franklin street, nights at Kenan football stadium, He's Not, & getting to graduate together with our best friends! (Go Heels!) After graduating, we moved back to Charlotte, where we're both from.

In August 2022, we had my family vacation to Bald Head Island, a spot I go every year with my family and have since I was 6 weeks old! Even though Parker & I had been dating for 6 years at this point, Parker had convinced me before this trip that he was not going to propose ("But I thought you loved Christmas! I was going to wait until then!"). So I was UTTERLY SURPRISED when on a casual sunset walk on the beach, I turn around and see PARKER ON ONE KNEE WITH THE MOST BEAUTIFUL RING! A whirlwind of emotions came over me...I've been waiting for this moment since I was 17!!! I couldn't stop crying of happiness (see pictures of proof lol!)

Now the wedding countdown is on, and as I soak in and enjoy the time being engaged, I really am looking forward to being Mr. & Mrs. May
